About

Someone Who Runs the Boat, Not Just Wires It

Ryan Dunnam grew up on the water in Palm Beach and Martin County and has spent the last 20 years earning a living on it — as a mate, captain, guide, and commercial fisherman. He mated on a world champion sailfish tournament team, worked commercial boats, and has run spearfishing and tuna trips to the Bahamas. That hands-on experience, not a classroom, is what taught him how boats — and the electronics on them — actually need to perform offshore.

He's also an NMEA-certified marine electronics installer, pairing that technical credential with two decades of real offshore experience — a combination that shows in every install. Today, Ryan brings that same standard of care to boat owners throughout Jupiter, Tequesta, Palm Beach Gardens, Stuart, and Hobe Sound, trusted with electronics on boats built by Yellowfin, Contender, Invincible, SeaVee, Viking, Valhalla.

Offshore: piloting a client's boat, Bahamas crossing

On the Water

When he's not elbow-deep in a helm, he's the person a small circle of trusted clients call on to run their own boats offshore — including trips to the Bahamas for spearfishing and tuna, customs arrangements included. It's referral-only, and it's the same standard of care that goes into every electronics install.
